So we really haven't been working on potty training with Payton full heartedly. I tried to get her to go before Micah got here but she wanted nothing to do with it. She didn't even want to go near it. She sceamed and through a fit even if I had her sit on it with her clothes on. But lately she has willingly been sitting on it right before bath time. So the other day she said to me "mommy I go to go potty". So I took her to the bathroom and she tries to go to the bathroom standing up, like Julian. I couldn't help but laugh but I had to stop myself because I didn't want to discourage her. So I told her she had sit down. Poor girl she is watching her brother and I am telling her something else. It's time for me to really get going on this so shes not totally confused.
Just thought I would share this funny moment.

I can see how the poor girl might be confused. Maybe she give in to the sitting position when she figures that she doesn't quite have the same aim. That's funny. This is not an issue we've ever had to deal with at our house. Good luck!
That's hilarious. Maybe you'll have to start taking her into the bathroom with you. Oh the joy of it all. Good bye to any and all privacy. I guess we gave that up though the moment we got pregnant and had our first doctors appt. HAHAHA.....
That's awesome. I love that girl. but Amber is right its time for her to learn from her mommy. My mom still pees infront of me. Gross! But being the first girl in our family, I guess its important that Mom pee'd infront of me. Oh dear, this is only the beginning. I always followed Jared and Matt around, doing as they did, even if they said no. Just ask Jared about me falling our of a tree and Matt and Jared screaming, "Carlye's brains are oozing out.". Funny thing is they said that all the way to the house untill we found Mom on the TOILET. Ironic, huh?
