She lost her first tooth. It looks like she lost two and people always say to her "oh you lost your tooth", referring to the gap in between her top two teeth. At one point she started to believe them and would simply reply "yes" to them when they would ask. Poor girl...her molars will come in and push them together and she will have nice straight teeth. I had the same gap so I know.
She was a little nervous and actually in tears when she first noticed that it was loose. We waited for about a week for that sucker to come out and sure enough when I picked her up from the bus stop she came off with the biggest smile, skipping to tell me that she lost her tooth in music class. When she went to bed that night she hadn't even been in bed two hours before coming to me crying (yes she cries a lot) that the tooth fairy hadn't come yet. But of course the tooth fairy would not dissapoint. She woke up very happy to the $2 she got.
