Procrastination

The one word I dislike so much but seem to do a lot of. I will say that when it beats me up long enough I do eventually get the task or, in this case goal, done. For my birthday, my wonderful friends pitched in and got me everything I need to start running. Although I didn't need this stuff for me to run but it just pushes me to really do it. They got me the Nike sport armband, carrying case and most importantly the Nike plus iPod. For those of you who don't know what this is I will explain. The Nike + iPod records the time, distance, pace and calories burned. You can track your results to your iPod nano then connect to nikeplus.com . You can challenge other people and track your progress. It 's pretty cool. But... am I ready for this? Will I even run one mile? Will I feel embarassed when Emily, Brooke and Joni run 5 miles and they see how many I do? Do I really want to get myself out of bed at 5:30 to go running? These are all questions I have been asking myself for a few days now. I do want to do it though. I have been wanting to start running and now is a great time. I know you girls are just waiting to see my name up there. I have put it off all week. See procrastination. It's an ugly word. But I think it's time....

I'm with Brooke. I exercise so that I can eat more. Can't you tell? Ha... You can do it though. I bet you could run 5 miles without even trying. Good luck.

so your goal for this week is a daunting one! Good luck. I seem to get Alaina's reorganized just in time for her to take a keen interest in all of it's contents. Only to find my hard work scattered into every nook and cranny of her room moments later! But she gets to rediscover lost toys and such!
Good Luck!
Started running yet?

I don't know what it would take to wake myself up at 5:30 to run in the morning. I am impressed! I love the pict of Payton's bed. That is too funny and she is a smartie!
